COMING HOME FOR CHRISTMAS

FROM SOURCE

The morning was MISTY but the memories of his childhood days came ALIVE so vividly as he sat at the window seat of the train chugging on relentlessly to its destination.

There were obvious signs of a SNOW fall that evening; however, he had a GLIMMER of hope, though, that his ardent wish to reach home before that would be fulfilled.

The reverie was broken, as the train stopped to a cacophony of noises and he realized with a vague air of joyful expectancy that finally, he was heading home for Christmas.

Next, he was only conscious of the SPARKLE of the decor, the hugs, and kisses, and the GLARING light of the blazing fire suffused with the festive spirit!

  1. There is no place more beautiful and magical than going home for Christmas, how I wish I still could! You described the scene of anticipation so well, Uppal!
