SKY VIEW AND FENCES

Indian Bloggers

These words reflect my feelings about the magic above us!!!

The sky view (above) one of my favorites is taken from my archives, when I's visiting the US in 2013.

The house having a clean neat look presents a graceful gate and I found it worth capturing.

The fence around a public park in a nearby complex, where I often go for getting some good shots.

NATURE'S POTPOURRI

image: courtesy Internet

Love, Robert Frost's poetic treatise on the impermanence of all entities!

“Nature's first green is gold,
Her hardest hue to hold.
Her early leaf's a flower;
But only so an hour.
Then leaf subsides to leaf.
So Eden sank to grief,
So dawn goes down to day.
Nothing gold can stay.”
Robert Frost

It's necessary to hunt for fresh images.
Yesterday, all of these pictures were clicked in the early afternoon, when i mustered up courage to step out in the sun to explore another residential area nearby. Armed with my camera, sunglasses and dupatta( veil) covering my head, i set out for the adventure. Mercifully, there were very few people on the road, otherwise they'd have taken me for a crazy specimen, taking pictures at that hour, God knows, for what? Hardly convincing, a lady of my age indulging in a weird hobby. However, I's not to be deterred.

 Red flowers in a park.

Flowery bushes and rows of trees alongside the main road of the area,

Pink bougainvillea flowers growing on the divider of the double entry road.

One of the parks at the entrance of our community.

A green landscaped vista which is lively but neglected!

I captured this nimble butterfly with  loads of patience.

A row of bushes with tiny red flowers, in one of the green areas.

OUTDOOR FORAYS

While foraging my archives, I hit upon this capture, as the right one for 'Good Fences.'
In the midst of a pleasant drizzle, I caught the thin streak of water flowing through the spout from the roof shelter of the balcony.( From my hill series.)

OUR WORLD IN BLOOMS

White twins in our front yard.

Shed no tear! O shed no tear!
The flower will bloom another year.
Weep no more! O weep no more!
Young buds sleep in the root's white core.  -    John Keats

Our backyard has these purple blooms spreading their sunny radiance!

The golden yellow from the nearby park.

The luxuriant yellow spread along the roadside in our colony.

Embellishing our backyard with their joyful smiles!

OUTDOOR CAPTURES

Iron fence guarding the well maintained space beyond the boundary wall of a beautiful house in our neighborhood. Shot taken during an early morning outing last week.

Clear blue sky smiling at the green belt of trees and bushes. At 8'o clock in the morning, the mild sun spreading soft haze in the park, close by to our residence.

SKY WATCH FRIDAY AND TWIN GATES

The scene captured during my morning walk!

Twin gates  of the houses on the outer road of our community. The residents of  these houses have an advantage as they overlook a beautiful park, where i often go for a walk.

This sky watch refers to the cloudy weather conditions, prevailing more than a fortnight back, when monsoon rains were on the last leg of their tour for the season!
