This picture from my archives was taken last summer, when we're spending the hot summer days in a small flat on the Shivalik hills at Himachal Pradesh. The block of flats is in the midst of a valley profuse with pine trees and sundry bushes. Above is the balcony of our flat, which first rays of the rising sun embellish with its golden light.  The shadow display is mesmerizing.

Last week, the weather took a strange turn. It's cloudy and threatening when it should have been sunny for wheat harvesting. Such is nature's whims and fancies. I think even nature is being impacted the way the bulk of the human race is conducting itself notoriously. The shot taken from the roof of our house on one such day.
