A is for 'AMBIANCE'
Today is the auspicious day of 'MAKAR SANKRANTI' which is celebrated all over India in varied ways. One important fact about this pious day is that it falls on the same day year after year except perhaps in the leap year. IT IS SPIRITUALLY of great significance and is associated with special rituals. It is believed to signify the onward march towards spring and easing of wintry conditions. Astrologically also it's great meaning. It represents a movement.
I share with you here these two pictures of the tiniest part of the cosmos which is highly complex but orderly. Here man, machine, nature, sky, clouds, horizon, dusk and evidence of the setting sun merge imperceptibly to create a patterned whole, a tribute to the mysterious ambiance of the universe, in which, we're part of a short odyssey!
I took these pics through the windshield while driving back to Patiala on the Chandigarh-Shimla Highway, yesterday. How advantageous it is to sit on the passenger seat, enjoy the ambiance and click at will!
