“We have nothing to fear and a great deal to learn from trees,
that vigorous and pacific tribe which without stint produces
strengthening essences for us, soothing balms, and in whose gracious
company we spend so many cool, silent, and intimate hours.”
'T' is for Trees
Kumarhatti nestles amidst pine forests. Pines stand
tall and patiently wait for rains to come to rejuvenate their
vitality and freshness after the onslaught of winter. I hope within a
short period of time the dullness will be forgotten and lanky pines will
overwhelm us with their green lustrous growth.
When the pines rustle and sway during strong winds, they sing a melody, which only the initiated can appreciate. Their message of courage and steadfastness under all circumstances is universal. They're never angry and are least demanding.Their calender never wavers and keeps its dates joyfully sans complaining.
Trees not only bless us but nurture us and soften the rough edges of our short journey. They don't discriminate. They're sentinels of hope and positivity. We're pilgrims and they are eternal.
Location: Nahan road, Kumarhatti, Solan.
True that - we are pilgrims and they are eternal. Beautiful thought to accompany a beautiful picture.
ReplyDeletePines sustain coldness throughout and entering pine forest is something makes feel quite same. Wonderful capture on the pines which seems brunching with wind.

Beautiful tree shots! There's another meme you might want to link this to called Nature Footsteps Trees & Bushes. She opens the link every Tuesday. You can find her on my sidebar list of memes.
ReplyDeleteNice to see so much greenery. It is soothing to the eyes. Trees live longer than us. During our childhood days, we used to bow before old trees out of respect. Trees do have life and communicate with each other. Trees are our best friend. Lets show them the respect that is due to them and lets allow them to thrive.
ReplyDeleteI admire your deep interest in nature, and value your thoughts, which show your genuine commitment to preserve our natural gifts.
DeleteLots of trees! Lovely greenery.
