MORNINGS ARE PIOUS

This one is from my archives. Pure stillness of the morning is palpable here.

The breeze at dawn has secrets to tell you. Don't go back to sleep.

P is for, piety, purity :

I associate purity  with the mornings. The calm quietude unadulterated yet with deafening noise of waking humanity. I always feel early morning time  suffused with spiritual overtones. This is the time to converse with your inner self, to reflect and reach certain conclusions. Spoken words seem irrelevant. The potency of the silence outweighs the need for peripherals.  The early hour stretches itself, undisturbed as it is from consuming externals. The unencumbered mind breaks  the hitherto closed paths of the soul. Step out and breathe the pure scented air. Swathe yourself with the piety of the ambience. Be yourself. Give thanks for the precious joyful moments. Feel the aliveness of the hour, listening to the dawn chorus of the birds.

Let the mind grow wings of imagination. Break the shackles of inhibitions.  Give free rein to ideas.  Renew promises to yourself. Close your eyes. Meditate. Energize the spirit.  Think of venturing into the unexplored. Prioritize.
The foundation for the day is laid. A well meaning beginning has been made.

Purple beauties:

This red purple bloom enlivens our back yard gratuitously. Last year's seeds remain in the soil and  a plant is born, which grows and flowers in October.

This one is from the mountains. And is opening up.

OUR WORLD

Our world's many facets:

The park which i frequent for my morning walk. A young Neem tree looks grand standing erect in the middle of the park

A microcosm of India at Ambala Railway Station, where i went to see off a dear one.

A flowering green bush looks refreshing in the same park.

ROSE O ROSE

Indian Bloggers

'A' is for 'Appealing.'

    An appealing foursome!

Rose O Rose!

“What did you say?”

“That today and every day,

Take every plunge with cheer

If you hold your journey dear.

Rosy paths coexist with thorny trails,

Often dirges precede mirthful tales.

That, rain or sunshine,

Consider these divine.

Mountains, valleys and streams

Through them, our life gleams.

That, we are ‘condemned to be free. ’

Our choices may be like barbed trees.

Ups and downs never should you mourn

Since every rose has a thorn.”

I LOVE YELLOW

Indian Bloggers

This is the first bloom on the bush which i clicked in the early sunshine of the morning, today.

'Y' is for 'Yellow'. Yellow is the color of sun of moon of gold of flowers and of our brightest smile.

Yellow shines like gold.

It exhilarates in every mould.

Keeps the on looker in soft hold,

In sunshine or crisp cold.

WEATHER IS THE KING

'W' is for WEATHER

Flower bush in the hills, where I'm putting up these days.
Occasionally the concept of weather enters our mind one way or the other. For example, people think about weather conditions, while fixing a date for a wedding or some important function or an event. Weather conditions also determine our planning for holidays or short outings. In short weather is the king.

Nature has endowed us with a variety of climatic conditions. All have banes and boons to their credit. Human beings are very special creatures on earth. We’ve moods, feelings, sentiments, likes and dislikes. Only nature knows how to handle our idiosyncrasies.
Rose in the mid morning light.

For instance, in the early days of summer, it fills us with enthusiasm to be proactive. Relief after getting rid of woolens, heaters, and hot water baths of winter is immense. We make plans for embarking on journeys to feel fresh and rejuvenated. Summers make us feel light and inspire us to plunge into adventurous activities. However, as the summer progresses, weather turns hot and humid and we long for rains.

My favorite red rose looks fresh after a spell of rain
We go ga ga during rains for a few days but soon enough get tired of dampness, wetness and stifling humidity and also being restricted in our lives. We start waiting for a more wholesome weather.

Slowly autumn lands in our lives with piles of shed leaves here, there and everywhere. For some time we enjoy the bright colors of autumn. We go for breezy walks and love the rustling of leaves under our feet. However, the fall charm wanes at the unkempt look of our environs and endless leave shedding in and around our homes.

In fact, autumn signifies plant world’s preparation for the winter. The bare look of deciduous trees and sundry vegetation indicates that plants go into a sort of hibernation to preserve their vigor for springing delightful surprises for us in spring. Spring transforms our environs into wondrous sights, which not only provide feast for the eyes but also inspiration and hope. The cycle of nature goes on and on. Sometimes we are too involved in worldly pursuits to be conscious of it.

NATURE'S ETERNAL BOUNTIES

This week  again in nature's bountiful lap!

'R' is for REAL. Nature is Real and its splendor is unique and iconic. Can we overlook its infinite templates?

The jacaranda's special attraction is its profuse flowering and gorgeous orange hue.

The succulent looks sweet with its unusual color and thick beautifully shaped leaves.

The Jacaranda is in resplendent glory laden with delicate orange flowers on the roadside close to our house.

OUR WORLD

Back once again to share these pictures, which i captured during the previous week.

These soft pink  cactus blooms embellished our front yard for a few hours, before wilting away in the summer heat.

The GULMOHUR in its resplendent glory standing like a sentinel in the park, which i frequent for my morning walks.

Marigolds with slightly different shades are ubiquitous in India.

In our backyard. They're a good enough reason to stroll in the back verandah, while sipping my morning cuppa of tea.

Another variety of tiny  plants and flowers ,which open up with sunlight. Multicolored adornments.

I'd not resist adding this image of a  bush brimming with sprightly red bottle brushes, which i happened to notice in the park close by our house, today morning.

I WALKED INTO A BEAUTIFUL WORLD -1

Friends, I'm back after visiting a  micro world so different from my own that i need to share  a few glimpses of it through a short photo journey and  also some info. However, in another post I'll introduce you to it in  detail. Today, I think it'd suffice  to say that it is a sort of health resort where they treat ailments through Naturopathy without administering any medicines. it is called 'JINDAL NATURECURE INSTITUTE', located in BANGALORE, KARNATAKA, INDIA.

The entrance to the institute, showing a beautifully designed fountain.
The charm extraordinaire of these heavenly hued flowers in the front  park was enough to lift spirits.

Yoga as a means of curing the body and mind is predominantly practiced in the daily schedule. The important asanas shown impeccably through these figures.
Another  gorgeous presentation of yoga poses.

The golden marigolds spreading their splendor.
Rose beds surrounded on one side by lush green trees and bushes.

A stylishly planted flower bed with multicolored blossoms.

The larger view of a  fountain  in the front garden, keeping company with nature at its best.

The institute has this vast lake on the back side. The lake is owned by the government but looked after by the institute management. I took this picture during one of my  morning walks, something, which i enjoyed the most.

To be continued.....

Friends, welcome here as always. Thanks for your support and kind words
