'Z' IS FOR 'ZIGZAG'

Our life can be likened to a zigzag path of unexpected twists and turns. The fleeting thought nudged, the other day, while on an evening walk amongst the winding hills, home to myriad kinds of vegetation and natural beauty. The cool breeze intoxicates enough to be oblivious of minor distractions. Soon the thinking mind got into a reverie. Its theme being life’s uncertainties. The stream of consciousness got flooded with images of various kinds. However, flashes of past became stilled after sometime. And the realization dawned that, in fact, blessed we are because of that!

Just imagine if our journey had a linear lane bereft of curiosities, wonders, miracles and stressful waits for outcomes of our efforts! Humankind would not have reached the zenith of overwhelming successes.We would have been like stones staying put at one place. Boredom would have consumed us. Life challenges the conscious thinking being to transcend the status quo and lurch ahead.

The real test of progress for a healthy individual is constant movement to thwart stagnation.
