I WALKED INTO A BEAUTIFUL WORLD- 2

Hi friends,
About a month's absence from a world which you love and receive intellectual sustenance from, is enough to leave you in a depressed mood. During this period, a vice like grip of viral fever and allied issues, left me totally incapable of doing anything. I realize now when you cross 70 your body doesn't listen to you any more. All your propositions go haywire. Looks like, gone are the days when you could do things at your will. Greatly disappointing of course. However, life is like that. It's a continuous, conscious struggle for the thinking beings.

Now, there will be gaps in my offerings and i HOPE my cyber buddies will  keep encouraging me. I constantly need that deeper level of satisfaction, which sharing with you can provide. I feel better and relieved after sharing my woes with you.
.........
I  had decided to acquaint you with this fabulous place,(Pl. read my previous post). Here are a few more glimpses into that world through this photo journey. The  inspirational thread has been  dimmed by my illness yet the effort is there to reenter the arena of a loving world.

The front park bordered by abundance of trees and thick green bushes.

The expanse of the grand lake keeps you company during part of your walking trail.

This is the entrance to the HEALTH MUSEUM(closed in the pic.), where they screen documentaries as well as pictures on fixed days  for the patients.

This is the amphitheater for laughing exercises and Yoga, which begins at 6am daily and goes up to 7am.The laughing sculptor says it all.

The bamboo plantation inside the institute. They bamboo sticks are used for fencing etc. at the appropriate time.

Another sculptor made of stone, adorning the empty space in a grassy lawn.

Here is a grand platter of organic produce, which is cooked to feed the inmates. All this is grown in the farm house adjoining the institute. From here it is taken to the kitchen early morning. The picture taken before seven, when I'd gone for a walk.

This is part of the farm house where  half a dozen cows are kept. Milk is used for setting curd and making cheese. It is also served for drinking to some patients.

The beans plantation overlooked by coconut trees.  Tender Coconut water is extensively consumed here.

Landscaping in the middle of the lake and flowerbeds on the bank maintained by the Institute.

I WALKED INTO A BEAUTIFUL WORLD -1

Friends, I'm back after visiting a  micro world so different from my own that i need to share  a few glimpses of it through a short photo journey and  also some info. However, in another post I'll introduce you to it in  detail. Today, I think it'd suffice  to say that it is a sort of health resort where they treat ailments through Naturopathy without administering any medicines. it is called 'JINDAL NATURECURE INSTITUTE', located in BANGALORE, KARNATAKA, INDIA.

The entrance to the institute, showing a beautifully designed fountain.
The charm extraordinaire of these heavenly hued flowers in the front  park was enough to lift spirits.

Yoga as a means of curing the body and mind is predominantly practiced in the daily schedule. The important asanas shown impeccably through these figures.
Another  gorgeous presentation of yoga poses.

The golden marigolds spreading their splendor.
Rose beds surrounded on one side by lush green trees and bushes.

A stylishly planted flower bed with multicolored blossoms.

The larger view of a  fountain  in the front garden, keeping company with nature at its best.

The institute has this vast lake on the back side. The lake is owned by the government but looked after by the institute management. I took this picture during one of my  morning walks, something, which i enjoyed the most.

To be continued.....

Friends, welcome here as always. Thanks for your support and kind words

OUR WORLD WHERE WINTER SMILES

In our part of the country, the deciduous trees, some bushes and plants show signs of winter. However, there are many varieties of flowers which gift us the glory of colorful  winter platter.

The above picture was taken in Dec., 2015 in the precincts of a University in 'Talwandi Sabo'(Punjab). Mild, late afternoon sun is spreading serenity around.

The resplendent multi hued bougainvillea flowers exhibit a gorgeous persona in the sharp effect of the early morning sun.

This shot Including the middle one show bougainvillea bushes  molded into  climbers on a lengthy wall of a  huge area housing  the city specific headquarters of 'Radha Soami'  a popular religious  sect in North India. See how the twigs have jutted out of the holes in the wall and are flowering as well.

Friends,welcome here as always!

I'll be absent from the cyber world for about three weeks,as I'm going out of station. I'll miss you, though!

WINTER HAS NO HOLD HERE!

Z is for Zone: A wintry colorful one!!!

A high class housing colony is coming up across the  Chandigarh - Delhi National Highway near Zirakhpur- a satellite town of Chandigarh. A visit there provided a great chance to shoot the flowers growing in well designed beds and around paths bordering the very neatly manicured lawns.

This is a pretty entry to the lawn from one block of flats.

chrysanthemums and roses around gardening tools room.

Fresh green leaves and yellow blooms of mostly marigold.

Rose bushes and their splendid creations!

Another beautiful lawn with more blossoms and a pair of wooden(perhaps) stools, though look like real wood.

Friends welcome here as always!

CDP THEME DAY

CDP THEME  FOR JANUARY 2016 IS:

 A FAVORITE PHOTO OF 2015.

The image I'm sharing is one out of many, which I like!

A lovely  duo of doves  was surveying the possibility of making a nest behind our AC unit in the back veranda. Finally they succeeded but  unfortunately the eggs fell down and broke.
